FEATURE STORY :
What Does a Triangle in the “Y” Loop Really Mean?
By Bart Baggett
President, Handwriting University
Everyone’s always asking about handwriting strokes that aren’t in my basic books. They are especially curious about strokes the insinuate something about a person’s sexuality or behind closed door behavior. Let’s face it, handwriting analysis is simply a diagnostic tool to start the conversation about a person’s deepest fears, fetishes, desires, and personality quirks. This single stroke is one that is not defined properly in most books written on the topic… you might find interesting to know and even challenging to interpret.
It has to do with sexual issues and percieved perversions that can sometimes be detected in the lower loops of the letter “y.” Listen to this lecture from the Level 301: Handwriting Analysis Certification Course as we discuss the definition of sexual perversion. Plus, how you can interpret the triangle stroke found in the “y” loop with greater accuracy, sympathy, and insight into the root cause.
This trait doesn’t always mean someone is wild or emotionally damaged, several other strokes can increase or decrease the meaning of this one primary trait….making it a challenge for most handwriting experts to analyze properly. And, latest research (not in the audio) indicates that the author might have bisexual tendencies or thoughts. Hmmm. That is interesting. Use the comments section below, leave your feedback.
You will also want to listen for the difference between the triangle loop and the lower stroke of the “y” which indicates persistence…

“Hi, I just attended the Handwriting Conference. It was great.
We learned so many things that is beyond just
explanation. All of the information we were given, loved
it. Met the people, great people, full of good will
towards one another. Was just a great conference. Enjoyed
it. Handwriting is wonderful. Would recommend
anyone to become a handwriting analyst.– Brenda Petty, Duncan OK.
